1001 Albums Summary

Textured, twangy, twitchy teenage tunes. Very fun and easy to absorb. I especially love how ‘bouncy’ and alive the instruments feel and the perfectly-imperfect vocals.

Sublime afrobeat - as classic as it sounds to me. Being an Africa immigrant this also invokes a huge nostalgia for me. The last two tracks are my favourite. I would happily listen to Fela-Kuti waffle on the mic endlessly haha.

Very easy listening 90’s hip hop. Vocals have a smooth flow, beats are silky, funky, bouncy and pleasant. Very hypnotic, could easily have this going in any background.

What I’d envisage everyone would imagine American rock n roll to sound like. I could easily see myself in a dusty, sweaty lonesome bar with this blaring in the background on a bluesy weeknight. It’s great.
