Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
Oct 07 2023

Very unique vs the rest of 80s new wave, only tepid song on the album is believe, the rest is strong. Shout is the standout and would hold up as a pop song in any era.

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
Oct 08 2023

This is Led Zeppelin’s best album, it is a legitimate masterpiece, and has an epic range of styles. The diversity is fantastic, but it has some incredible bangers as well. “In my time of dying” is 11 minutes long, but doesn’t waste a second, it sums up the whole album, because they all have an immediacy regardless of length.

Queen II by Queen
Oct 09 2023

This is a prog-rock concept album, not exactly what you would hear from Queen as time went on. Although it doesn’t have any of the hits, it’s remarkably focused and there isn’t a bad song on the album. “Nevermore” has hints of Bohemian Rhapsody and “Funny how love is” sounds like it was produced by Phil Spector.

Oct 11 2023

Rooted heavily in 70s funk, sounds and feels very much of the era. It definitely captures a mood and puts you in that place, solid album.
