1001 Albums Summary

Big, cinematic sound. Not a huge lyrics guy— so the storytelling is kind of lost on me. Enjoyed Thunder Road, Born this Way, and Jungletown.

Title track is awesome. Instruments are nice, I like the lyrics, but the vocals don’t do it for me. First half much better than second half.

Transitions are awesome. Techy, glitchy sound. Middle dragged, but overall, I enjoyed this album enough.

A sweet sort of happiness permeates the whole thing. Had some iffy songs, but the highs were extremely high. Favorite song: “In My Life.”

Before listening, already held as one of my favorite albums of all time. After listening, my opinion was unchanged.

Interesting, but I have no desire to revisit it again.
