Pet Shop Boys
This album might've been cool or ground-breaking in the 80s, but my 90s ears couldn't really find the appeal. It wasn't terrible. I did bop to it a little while washing dishes, but more ironically than anything. It has good beats, but won't be anything I reach for to listen to in the future.

Definitely has some grooves and is an enjoyable album all the way through. Lots of early Beatles vibes. Really listenable. Not something I'm probably going to pick back up and listen to again, but I'm not going to turn it off if it comes on.

Good album! Nothing too great and very repetitive. It's like Trance/Acid Indie Rock or something. I could see maybe some Nine Inch Nails influence or Pixies influence. Not bad, but not great either.

David Bowie
Nothing to write home about. There were some great grooves, but I've never found Bowie's vocals that appealing.

Pleasantly surprised by this album! I always thought this band wasn't one to take seriously cause of the history of "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida," but they really have a lot of great elements of the era. I hear The Beatles and The Doors and CCR and Hendrix and Sabbath. They aren't lyricists by any means, but the quality of most of the songs on the album is pretty damn good!

Such a fantastic album. It has it's own not so great points, but even those parts of the album are still fun. It's crazy that I've never owned this album, yet I still knew every song on it.
