Mixed feelings. There are elements that I enjoy and recognize. A chill album to play in the background while painting. I can feel the work that went into the album. Favorite/surprising song? Under the Ice and Jig of Life. Most WTF song? Waking the Witch.
Familiar but with some different tunes I hadn’t heard before. Another background music album. I enjoyed it although I tuned out during different songs. No standouts except the camp song. No idea that existed.
All around classic. Well familiar with the album already.
Nice mix of new (to me) songs and others that I knew very well. I did not know that Across the Universe was covered by Bowie. Interesting version.
