David Byrne is a brilliant frontman, but the eccentric rhythms from bassist Tina Weymouth and drummer Chris Frantz almost single-handedly carried this album.
The first five tracks on this album are tremendous, and the last three tracks…well, those first five are really, really good.
I love the meta-humor of the Beatles making an entire album that is framed around the proposition of performing live for an audience directly after deciding that they would never again perform live for an audience.
