iconic walk this way cover, and "tricky" is all time. I respect its place in history but the rest of the tracks don't speak to me
4/5. Never heard this before, production is really really cool and enjoyed the flow a lot.
Some all-time songs. At its best, god-tier, at its worst, a teensy bit saccharine.
I regret to report I could not make it through the first minute. Not for me!
love the title track! guitars reminded me of Jai Paul, and cool electronic elements. Wasn't as struck by the rest of the album. 3/5
Has some good moments. The thing I don't get about this is there are so many better (imo) psychedelic folk albums of this era. He certainly sounds in a lot of (emotional) pain, and that comes across in the music, but not in a way that I thought deserved to be on this list. 2/5.
lovely album. Levon such a beautiful song, and Tiny Dancer of course.
I love REM, including this album! It has a couple classic REM songs, which remind me of car trips with my parents growing up. II think "End of the World" deserves a 5/5, but the rest of the album is a 3/5
Cool moments but not for me. 2/5
wow i loved this! never heard this album but every song pretty much is a banger. I could see how someone might feel every song has a similar sound, but they all hit to me, and the album is not long. amazing horns. standout song is Pedro Navaja. 5/5
I don’t get it. Sounds like I’m watching a local bar band and genuinely don’t get the appeal. 2/5
i like the attitude, but find the songs kind of forgettable. 2/5
I enjoyed this an unexpected amount. Some really great songs and a ton of fun. 4/5
Such an iconic album. Not necessarily my personal favorite but so raw... not necessarily my personal favorite, but it's easy to appreciate why this album is so important
Oh man, I'm biased maybe because I grew up listening to Genesis. But this is a reallyyy really cool album to me. It's so weird and it feels like such an adventure to listen to. It's the kind of album where I totally understand why someone wouldn't like it, though... but man what a cool one! Peter Gabriel goat
Just feels like a punkier version of the stones but not as good? Maybe I will change my mind
This is definitely an Iron Maiden album! As a guitarist, it's fun to listen to for some shredding, but I've don't feel any deeper appreciation for this than that.
God, what an album. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this again after many years. 5/5.
