1001 Albums Summary

Struck by the well defined Post-Punk aspects of this album, but how clearly headed towards the advent of New Wave they already are on their debute LP. I enjoyed this as someone who really doesn't dig New Wave (afaik!)

The guitar obviously rips but I've never really vibed with late 70s-80s arena rock. Just not my thing

I do not doubt there are people who this is 100% their shit. I am just not one of those people

One of the most influential albums of the 20th century...even if people don't know it

This one gets all the attention but I don't think it's as innovative as it's competitive motivation (Pet Sounds) nor is it the true zenith of the Beatles' mastery of their craft (Abbey Road)

As I get older I really appreciate artists who don't confine themselves to one particular genre and have an obvious love of music. I dont think is my favorite TWS album, but I always appreciate Jack's artistry even if I find him a little much as a person. Also, everyone needs to leave Meg alone. She rules.

GZA isn't my go-to Wu-Tang member but a solo outing from any of them rarely disappoints
