1001 Albums Summary

This album wasn’t my favorite. It bounces between well put together songs (like “Message In A Bottle”, which is a great song) and songs that feel like they were haphazardly thrown together. The album is somewhat high-energy, and maybe it would be a good “driving” album, but overall I don’t think I’d listen to it in its entirety again.

Good jazz album. The start of the album is a little more fast-paced and “jumpy”, but it eventually transitions to something more along the lines of smooth jazz. Good album to put on in the background.

I enjoyed this album much more than I thought I would. It has a good mix of songs- some are upbeat, “bouncy” and “poppy”, while others are slower and more melancholy, but the whole album has a fun vibe. I can see why this is a polarizing album and some people don’t like it, but overall I really enjoyed it.
