Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Nov 06 2023

The music is iconic. Iggys voice is grating at points. Some songs have aged badly - like sweet sixteen. But there’s a couple of pretty perfect songs on it. I’ll be humming lust for life and Passenger all day.

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
Nov 07 2023

I enjoyed this. The guitar riffs sound familiar even though I don’t think I’ve heard any of the tracks before. It was more background for me than anything else. But I liked it, there’s something nostalgic about this music, like it reminds me of something I can’t quite grasp. I’d listen again.

Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens
Nov 08 2023

Lovely album. Some songs I recognised. I’d listen again.

Arrival by ABBA
Nov 10 2023

A classic!!

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Nov 13 2023

A classic!! Recognised a lot of tunes from TV and stuff. But I like my songs with lyrics.

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Nov 27 2023
evermore by Taylor Swift
Dec 01 2023

I loved this. It’s slightly bland for my tastes but the lyricism is amazing. Something delicate about a lot of the vocals.

Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves
Dec 08 2023

I really enjoyed this. Country isn’t usually my thing and It’s a little cheesy and predictable in parts, but some of it is spectacular.

Brothers by The Black Keys
