1001 Albums Summary

I can understand how this would be regarded as an iconic album. However, in my opinion, that is purely based on three excellent songs which served to be three of the bands biggest hits. Around those songs there was nothing that stood out to me at all upon first listen, I thought the other songs were pretty insignificant.

I didn't think I would enjoy it but fair play took me by surprise. Some pretty cool, sometimes comedic moments. Some interesting twists here and there and some cracking samples. They made the album for me.

Aside from, of course, Tiny dancer, some cool moments here and there. In particular liked All The Nasties

Despite not really following as much of a concept as everyone believes (it trails off after 'With a Little Help from my Friends', this is the greatest album ever.
