1. Walk On By Such a cool groove, the guitar(?) sounds so unique whilst not being inaccessible. his voice is calm but stoic. It EASES!!! flutes are always a plus. “o, mama. walk on by.” the pace is glorious, while it is a long song, it still conforms to structure. ~7 minutes in, it starts the build!!! orgasmic!!! this is brilliant. THAT GUITAR AT THE END??? best part definition of cooooool. 2. the groove and mood continues… so good!!! it’s all about building up to a cacophonous climax, and each one is as emotional as the last. 3. This album is unique in that the centerpiece is the short piece, while the others are almost or far surpassing ten minutes in length. that being said, this does NOT pale in comparison to the others, if anything, it is a strong build to the monstrous, twenty minute “by the time i get to phoenix” 4. here it is, the peak of peaks. the top that towers above everything else. absolutely glorious in form. it doesn’t really start until about seven minutes in, but by god, i was still enthralled. 5/5 chef’s kiss!
