An interesting mix between rock and raggae. It doens't help that their strongest song is at the beginning lf the album with message in a bottle. Its not inventing the wheel new but it is still enjoyable. Stewart Copeland on the drums does an amazing job
Definitly not their best work. In their fourth album Metallica strays away from the raw power and aggression of Seek and Destroy and Master of puppets to a more artsy metal album. It's still thrash but more progressive ans it shows in the album lenght. Over an hour of Metallica can be overwhelming. But i still enjoyed it, and with one a stable of Metallica is on this album.
A psycho-rock, jazz, funk fusion. And it somehow works, great guitar riffs and solos, but that is somewhat i expected going into a santana album. But to my surprise it got stale for me after a few songs, always the same loose structure and nothing really new. Don't get me wrong they are great songs on their own but all together, it was a bit too much for me. Stand out song is Hope you're feeling better, it has lyrics and the organ is a much needed change after 30min of Santanas guitar.
A very gloomy album. It's an album that shows the feelings of David Bowie at the end of his life, raw and unfiltered. But musically it is not that accessible. Very artsy feel, his falsetto flips are questionable, he definitly made better albums. But there are still good songs on here, Lazerus is a banger and blackstar isn't that bad either.
One of the best albums of all time. Easy 5 Stars.

The debut album of Foo Fighters is essentially dave grohls album. He recorded it all by himself, which is very impressive. It sounds raw and unfiltered, while still sounding like later Foo Fighter albums. There aren't as many recognizable songs on here. But for a debut album it is really solid.
An alternative rock album that deserves that name. There are a lot of interesting concepts and songs on there, but none of them stood out to me. On top of that the singing isn't really my cup of tea its all very nasaly. Maybe I'll revesit this later.
