Radiohead’s sophomore work is a massive step up from their debut in all aspects; while still far from their best work, The Bends is 90s alternative essential, which helps to establish the distinctive Radiohead sound which is further consolidated in their coming magnum opus. Stacked full of underrated tracks like Planet Telex, Just, Black Star to name a few, The Bends is always a reliably great listen.
