1001 Albums Summary

Good mix of calm and more energetic songs; reminds me a bit of Parquet Courts, but not probably only because I do not listen to (Indie) Rock a lot. I cannot say much about the lyrics.

It surprised me that I liked that album, as I usually don't listen to that kind of music. The instrumentals are beautiful, especially the guitar. After a few listens, the way Nick Drake stretches out the syllable at the end of a verse gets a bit tiring, but that's not too much of a problem.

Over several listens the album really grew on me. I keep returning and that is a good sign for an album, at least for me.
