OK Computer by Radiohead
Dec 28 2023

One of the most beloved albums in the history of music. It is loved by everyone and there really is absolutely no one who doesn't like this album. It has flaws, but they are minimal. Yorke at his best is seen on this album. Truly a revolution in Alt-Rock and a revolution in the band itself. The production of the album is beautiful and the interpretation of each of the participants of the album is important. It has some of the best songs of the band's career. I think it ends up being so beloved because of the deep-not-deep writing that the songs have. While you have songs where deep lyrics are present (Karma Police), you have songs where they are not present and they are still great songs (No Surprises). I'm not saying that it's written like that, I'm saying that it has a quite digestible writing. In addition to this the more electric sound of the album as opposed to the other two albums before this one and that sound sounds so fresh to this day.

Buena Vista Social Club by Buena Vista Social Club
Dec 29 2023

A huge surprise on my part. While I knew it was a very good album, I didn't expect to like it so much. It became one of my favorite Spanish-speaking albums. Very nice and fun. Made In Japan by Deep Purple

It's awesome that these guys did this live. Deep Purple must be one of the only bands whose best albums are live.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Jan 01 2024

Another of the high peaks of David Bowie's career, but not the highest. It has some spectacular tracks, Life On Mars? may be one of the best tracks of Bowie's career and music in general. The album has a certain monotony that makes it feel boring as the tracks go by. Changes: 9,5 Oh! You Pretty Things: 8,9 Eight Line Poem: 8,4 Life on Mars?: 10 Kooks: 8,6 Quicksand: 9 Fill Your Heart: 9,4 Andy Warhol: 8,7 Song for Bob Dylan: 9,2 Queen Bitch: 8,2 The Bewlay Brother: 8,6

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Jan 02 2024

Another demonstration of why the beatles are the best band in history. You can see that each of the members was a genius who was not at the time. George Harrison shows that despite being the Beatle with the least spotlight, he could do great things. He puts out one of the best songs I've ever heard in my life and it's a beautiful album.
