1001 Albums Summary

I mean it was...interesting. Felt like the tracks didn't flew super well togheter like i expected, but overall the atmosphere is solid. Probably the most 70s prog rock sounding album i've ever heard. Plus, I love the cover, it's very suggestive. Favourite songs: Asylum, Rudy, Crime of the Century

I heard a lot of nu-metal/rap metal roots here, doesn't surprise me if bands like Korn and Rage Against The Machine took some inspirations from them. Mike Patton's voice is good, it serves well this mix of genres. There is literally everything here: funk, heavy metal, hardcore punk, hard rock, soul, rap... everything. A pretty good metal album overall, the only thing that i don't like is the production quality, it kinda aged bad. It's still listenable in my opinion, but it's noticeable. It's more prominent in some tracks more than the others anyway (mainly Falling to Pieces) But I can excuse it because the Black Sabbath's cover of War Pigs is neat! Favourite songs: Epic, Edge of The World, Zombie Eaters, War Pigs

This is great! I've never listened to them, but I'm already curious to dig more into their discography because, to put it simply: this shit goes hard. It's a feel-good album, full of dance hits and an amazing production. It makes me want to dance, to sing, to live in the 80's. I love the funky guitar and the bass lines in basically every song, the vocals are super clear and groovy af. Favourite songs: He's the Greatest Dancer, Thinking Of You, Easier to Love
