1001 Albums Summary

Never listened to a S&G album before. Exceeded expectations despite not being a huge fan of folk-rock. Nice instrumentation and production. Wordy lyrics but not annoying. Pleasantly surprised to hear the original Hazy Shade of Winter. Might listen again but not likely to immediately seek out more S&G.

Very boring, by the numbers, rock record. I found the lead guitar extremely annoying. The only good thing to stand out was the hint of nostalgia it gave me for the 90s.

Solid, fun album. A bit funkier than I expected. I particularly enjoyed the title track. I will listen again, and I now have a greater appreciation for The Temptations.

Not my style, but a very solid singer/songwriter album. Great voice. Probably won't listen it again, though.
