The White Album by Beatles
Jan 04 2024

I enjoyed many of the individual songs, but found the whole album experience to be very disjointed. I feel like this could have been two cohesive albums, or one cohesive album and a few well-matched EPs.

The Band by The Band
Jan 05 2024

Definitely evocative, with a clear point of view. None of the songs really stick out, but I can see myself hearing this on the radio while on a long drive through the country and thinking "huh, I know this from a long time ago. However, I couldn't get over the confederacy imagery. Sorry.

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Jan 08 2024

Definitely ahead of its time. Good easy listening.

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Jan 10 2024

First album where I already had songs from it! Love her storytelling and the timbre of her voice.

Unhalfbricking by Fairport Convention
Jan 12 2024

Really enjoyed this. I’m a celtic music fan and I loved the non traditional instruments and spooky vibes on this. Kind of sounds like Kate Rusby at times.

Moondance by Van Morrison
