1001 Albums Summary

Glad I heard it. Interesting and different blend of African beats with electric guitars.

I understand this was hailed as a new era for Elvis that showed a maturation, but I don’t feel that the music itself is enough as a stand alone album to warrant the acclaim it gets.

They evolved quite a bit as a band - this was the early years with many songs not penned by Lennon and McCartney.

Stevie Wonder showing his musical genius on this album. Not my favorite genre but well crafted nonetheless.
