1001 Albums Summary

One standout, Poor Boy. Otherwise this music isn’t for me.

This album is pretty good. The first half is definitely stronger and more fun.

I liked five songs a lot, and I enjoyed that there was a musical theme connecting every song. Other than the five standouts, however, I didn’t really love the album. I likely will not seek out any of Lupe’s stuff beyond this project.

Sounds too similar to Arctic Monkeys. Like the dude from AM in this band just recycled rejected songs here. Terrible band name too. If you like Arctic Monkeys you probably like this. I don’t like Arctic Monkeys tho.

This album has some standouts but it’s not great. The middle where it’s slow is kinda bland and boring in my opinion.

Did not love this. First time listening to Nick Cave. Glad this is a departure from his usual stuff, I’ll check out his other work.
