Shout - Pretty popular tune. Decent but a little vanilla. The Working Hour - pretty smooth tune with the sax. Could be cut down a few minutes as I think it goes on a little too long toward the end. Everyone Wants to Rule the World - Not bad, but kinda cheesy stereotypical “80s” sound and lyrics that puts it in an average tier in my opinion. Mother’s Talk - Kinda sounds like a Michael Jackson tune with the opening riff. Lyrics are kind of mid, but has a really good groove and bass line in the background that I dig. I Believe - A bit more melancholic. Could see listening to this on a rainy day. Not really a fan of the lyrics, but instrumentals are okay. Broken - Has a nice riff preluding to their next song in the album. Best song of the album so far imo Head Over Heels- Seems to be a continuation of the previous song and more well known to me. I’ve always liked this tune a fair bit. Listen - Kinda tuned it out. Good as background music, but I find it pretty repetitive and boring.
