Introduction - instrumental and really pretty Hazey Jane II - 6/10. Sounded like it had some jazz influence? He sang-spoke (he rushed a lot of words into a stanza). At the Chime of a City Block - 7/10 VIOLINS! Definitely jazz influences. I couldn't understand all the lyrics. Slow, but relaxing. He sung in higher notes. One Of These Things First - 6/10. Piano. Slow. I wish he would enunciate more. I liked it tho! Hazey Jane I - 7/10 VIOLINS! super interesting that HJII came first. This is one my favorite so far. Had an upbeat start? Bryter Layter - 8/10 title track. Maybe the first time I've heard/recognized flute outside orchestras. Instramental. New favorite. Peaceful. Fly - 5/10. I am just rating with my gut but this didn't grab me. Poor Boy - 7/10 more upbeat. Piano. Choir that I like! Sax is back! Second favorite. Northern Sky - 7/10 "Would you love me in the winter?" Made me think of ASD. I like this one. Sunday - 7/10 Closer. Flute. Sounds really pretty. Instramental. Sounds both hopeful and sad. I liked the instramental tracks a lot! Sometimes when I am having a bad day, I just want to go take a shower and listen to peaceful music and this sounds like good music for that. I liked the other songs, but I don't like it when I can't understand the words.
