You can dissect almost every instrument in the beat, each member of the group putting a show altogether that flows into a beautiful masterpiece. Very experimental for its time, jazzy beats and hip hop combined with an interesting alternative rhythm.
Psychedelic sounds with a dreamy fantastical string of songs. Stories of jesters, and queens. It’s easy to tell how much passion was put into the articulate world building. Beautiful paintings of wonder and silk thrones, velvet linings and hills with trees, which are lined with crows and birds.
Funky noise! Very prominent vocals, beautiful writing.
Very serene. Released in 1970, beginning the decade of the hippy. Acoustic melodies dancing together embracing under an umbrella of rock and country. I found this sound of music a bit too unappealing. Solid songs like Friend Of The Devil, and Till The Morning Comes. Other than that I really wouldn’t wish to listen to the same church like rhythm all that much.
