Prince
Prince is a big blind spot in my musical odyssey so I'm happy to have been able to give this whole record a spin. First two tracks are of course familiar thanks to their status in music culture but the rest of the album was new. Though it runs for a hefty 70 minutes it went by incredibly quickly. Even 7-9 minute tracks would fly by.
Definitely revisiting this later

There's No Place Like America Today
Curtis Mayfield
Oh I LOVE this record. Absolute classic. Curtis Mayfield is probably the most underrated bandleader of the 70's as far as mainstream recognition goes. I may dance to "So in Love" at my wedding.

Many people's favorite of the fab four. While not mine, it's a home run all the same.

Couple less great tunes but a new wave classic all the same. Parts 1/2 of the title track are classics. So much to love here.

Dennis Wilson
The least known of the Wilson brothers (and first to leave us sadly) gives us a solo record for the ages. It's clear that there was an insane amount of talent there. Glad we got at least this one testament to Dennis' artistry as a standalone songwriter.
