Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Jan 16 2024

Cool album, but a little dated for my taste. The guitar solos were great though, and I was definitely a fan of the folksy sound. It was cool seeing that this album came out in 1970, while Fleetwood Mac's Rumours came out in 1977. The influence this sound has on Fleetwood Mac is pretty clear right of the get go, and this album was certainly easy to listen to. Only song I had already heard from this was: Teach Your Children as sung by Michael Scott on the office

The Blueprint by JAY Z
Jan 17 2024

First time listening to a JAY-Z album. I'm not surprised this was great, but I was stoked at how right off the bat the album comes in hot with bravado and great production. The samples bristle with energy, and this album reminds me of Kanye's Graduation in a great way. Definitely interested in exploring more of JAY-Z's discography

Music in Exile by Songhoy Blues
Jan 18 2024

Really fun album, and not something I normally would have been exposed to. The music is energetic, and hard to place into a specific genre. Some fantastic guitar riffs here, which contrast and compliment really nicely with the background vocals throughout the songs.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jan 22 2024

Great album, I definitely see the appeal of Blondie. I had only previously heard One Way Or Another and Heart of Glass, so it was a treat to dive deeper into the album. I wasn't quite as into the middle set of songs, but I did enjoy the listen throughout.
