1001 Albums Summary

A great album, indeed a classic. Brilliant recording. Not something I'd listen to everyday though, just personal preference.

Fantastic audio engineering and production, sonically fantastic, great bass sounds and mix, and classic old-school stereo with drums hard-panned to one side. Not sure if Elvis' best album, In The Ghetto amazing and love the arrangments...but might pick another album if only get one for Elvis.

Not my cup of tea, but I recognize and appreciate the talent and inventiveness and creativity.

Beautiful, nice songs, fantastic recording and production...but pretty slow and mellow and didn't speak to me. Worth another listen though.

Great debut album, wonderful songwriting, still feels current and un-dated, all holds up well.
