1001 Albums Summary

Awesome! I bought this when it first came out, but had forgotten how great it is. Classic!

Great chill album! I was familiar with Pink Moon and Cello Song, but never really listened to an entire album of his. Had no idea he died in 1974, how tragic! Definitely going to play this album more often and maybe even try to purchase it on vinyl.

Ok, don’t really need to listen to this one as it is already one of my favorite all time albums by probably my all time favorite singer.

The only thing I have against this album is why didn’t I listen to it back in the day. Every song is great except that last one, Voodoo Doll (which I’m sure is every Siouxsie goth girl’s all time fave). Fun 80s/90s college alternative album for taking you back to when you wore black fingernail polish and smoked clove cigarettes

Probably my favorite from one of my all time favorite rock bands. I’ve been listening to it since high school and have a lot of memories listening to it. I love how they went from Animals, an album devoted to class structure and socioeconomic to one about becoming a celebrity and all the pitfalls that go with it on WYWH.

Damn! I thought I was pretty hip with all the jazz greats but had never heard of Hugh. What a wonderful album! I’ll be looking for this next time I go digging through crates at the local vinyl mecca, as well as exploring his discography

I just can’t get into latin music for an extended period of time. With that being said I’m still going to give it some good stars because the musicianship is obviously very good. I can see this being very good if you are into this type of music, but it’s just not for me.
