1001 Albums Summary

I enjoyed the two songs I knew before listening (Sympathy For The Devil and Street Fighting Man), but I somehow had second-hand embarrassment listening to the rest of the album. Something about the songs made me cringe.

I did really like a few of the songs on this album and did find it overall beautiful, but I found myself a bit bored listening to this

I liked a couple of the songs but overall it wasn't for me. I was a little let down because my exposure to Rush has been low, but I know some of my relatives say Rush is their favorite band.

The first half of this album I really enjoyed, but the second half for me was a bit boring!

I thought the first few songs were great and got my hopes up that this would be my first high rating, but then I got a bit bored and some songs I really hated (Country Sad Ballad Man and Essex Dogs).

Really did not like this one, would have rather listened to nothing at all. The only track that really stood out to me was Highschool Lover

I did not particularly enjoy this album, but it has some nostalgia for me as I wrote a Research Paper on Protest Music and Rage Against the Machine in high school. While I likely would not listen to this apart from a couple songs, I think thematically this album is significant and important.

Felt good about this from the start. Really glad I listened to it and looking forward to listening to many of this again. Very much into Dusty's voice.
