1001 Albums Summary

this album is beautiful. it is filled with amazing clashes of many different instruments on every song, which is something i enjoyed all throughout the album. this album seems like the perfect album to play on a fall or rainy day, which is a vibe i really like! i have never listened to an album like this, so it is something new. i gave this album 3 listens, and i am walking away with half of the tracklist. i can see the beauty in each song, though some i just cant see myself listening to in the future, but there wasn't a bad song in this album. my favorite song on the album is Day Is Done. i rate this album a 3, it's really good and consistent, but due to me taking away only half of the tracklist because of my own personal taste, i cant give the album a rating above a 3

this album is amazing. there are so many highlights on this album, many being the outstanding riffs and drum rolls sprinkled all throughout the tracklist. this was such a fun listen and kept me entertained the whole runtime. i had only heard the obvious classics from this album, but im so glad i have finally experienced the album in full! my favorite song on the album is War Pigs / Luke's Wall, it's one of the best openers to an album I've ever heard. each song was quality and i loved every single minute of this album, and for that reason..i rate this album a 5!

this album is honestly boring, and isnt amusing in any way. it feels plain all throughout and also doesnt have the greatest writing either, one example being on the song 'Shelter' on the first verse: "I find shelter in this way Under cover hideaway Can you hear when I say 'I have never felt this way'", it just seems very lackluster and that kind of writing is all over that track and album as a whole. there are also stuff on certain tracks that are just out of place like on track 5, Heart Skipped A Beat, I felt like the beat of the song and the singing just didnt click, it seemed so odd, and i didnt like it at all. I also am not a big fan of Romy or Oliver's voice, especially not over this production, i dont think it fits their voices. im rating this album a 1. my favorite song on here is Intro.

this album didn't really do much for me. this album felt like an instrumental album more than anything else. i did enjoy the production on it, but nothing was too crazy. i dont think i will visit the album again, besides the few songs i actually enjoyed. im taking away 4 songs out of the tracklist, and im giving this album a 2. my favorite song on this album is Maybe I'm Amused, i really enjoy his voice on this track and the amazing guitar solos.
