1001 Albums Summary

Longer Boats is a great song that I wasn't familiar with. Same with On the Road to Find Out. Album also includes the classic Wild World.

Admittedly a little avant-garde for my taste but I could appreciate how influential this album was to Alt Rock in the '80s, particularly Depeche Mode. Thompson Twins "Lay Your Hands on Me" drew inspiration from "Spacelab."

Classic, and we already own collector's vinyl.

First listen for me. Really enjoyed it. Americana?

I have a long-standing love for '80s alt and Come On Eileen was a fave (Dexys but not on this album). This album, however, was not for me.

Not my jam but I appreciate the album is solid for those who like the genre
