1001 Albums Summary

I understand why people like her now, a very interesting voice. It's jazz, which isn't my thing, unfortunately for this album. My dad would probably like it. It was OK. Likely won't pick it up.

Noisy. I like it. Always loved Irish music. On the fence about the singer's voice, but mostly I don't mind. Might need to revisit this later for a deeper listen.

Killer music, but I couldn't get past the singer's voice. Personal issue. Otherwise, powerful and raw, and the singer gets less grating as the album goes on. Maybe I just got used to it.
