Nick DrakeI had heard his music out of context but the album really brought his work together in a coherent way. I appreciate the smooth vocals.

Beautiful synthesizers, iconic 80’s sound. I’m not a huge fan of the vocals but the lyrics are evocative.
Great mix of songs with classic guitar riffs. Peace Frogs is my favorite track but Indian Summer was sickly and sentimental
The album nicely reflects nostalgia, from the scenes in the classroom to the reflection on the past as an adult. The occasional woodwind was refreshing. That said, the love songs did nothing for me, and the overwhelming religious moralism was a big turn off.
Why does the singer sound so far away? The songs feel so passionate yet distant. This is a yearning album.
Great album! It goes from light synths to swampy blues.
Ridiculously soulful. As someone who’s been through some ugly breakups, this has some absolute anthems.
I love the grunge! They must be an inspiration for the Gorrillaz.
Highway Star is clearly a song about a man who makes love to his car, yet by Space Truckin’, he’s moved on to a new vehicle. Heartless.
