1001 Albums Summary

Disappointing how the songs don’t transition cleanly from one to the next. Funky grooves will keep you interested, but doesn’t blend well with their hip hop style.

A very fluid album. Even though it’s only 7 songs, the album has a definitive beginning, middle, and end.

The whole album is very upbeat. Almost too upbeat, with no variation of high and low emotions. I can appreciate how influential this change of music was to the culture in the 70s and paved the way to the Disco 80s.

I have a deep appreciation for this album, but can’t really get behind it… Just not my style, and seems repetitive
