Listening statistics & highlights
Album with a great consistent feel. Some more upbeat songs mixed with some more slow burners. Guitar forward. Some songs have multiple guitar solos. Sometimes the solos are a little less developed than I'd prefer but still very good.
Good. Easily enjoyable. Some tracks stand out. Favorite track: Blue Monday
Bears similarities to Pink Floyd. But this is a little more mainstream sounding than piper at the gates of dawn.
Consistent style of blues with a lot of what might be called trilling on the harmonica. Some songs have some pretty good bluesy guitar solos. Some are laid back (mannish boy, little girl) while others are more upbeat (Blues had a baby...). Favorite track: The Blues had a Baby and They Named it Rock and Roll.
Soft acoustic songs. Twangy steel string sounds. Needle of Death is great but so is Casbah. Each song has a story
Classic Elton. Has Tiny Dancer. Many of the songs have that similar feel to them.
lots of distorted guitar. Multiple guitars. Interesting and somewhat distinct sound with some punk and psychedelic and electronic dance sounds. Singer's voice sounds familiar but can't place it.
