1001 Albums Summary

I don't know that I've ever listened to this album in it's entirety before, but I associate several of these songs strongly with my freshman year at Cornell. That's when I was introduced to Cat Steven's Greatest Hits. The song "Father and Son" is a favorite of mine that I had forgotten about. I don't know if I've listened to it as a father. I used to listen to it on repeat though. It's my favorite song on the album.

I know the band’s name and I know some of these songs but it was good to get a refresher and be able to put the band name to their sound. I recognized Peg immediately from being sampled on Three Feet High and Rising.

Haven’t listened to this one in a long time but I have the CD somewhere.
