Perfect background music for taking a personal day from work on a random Tuesday and spending it day drinking alone with a good book at a mostly empty pub.
It’s an eclectic album. That helps to differentiate the tracks somewhat but for my tastes, the album only really shines once you reach the second half Feel Flows and Lookin’ at Tomorrow are the album’s standouts. But Don’t Go Near the Water and Student Demonstration Time are also strong. It’s overall enjoyable but I wouldn’t put it in my own list of 1000 must-hear albums.
Largely a dance/techno album but it has some unexpected avant garde jazzy flourishes.
If someone wants a recommendation for a first AC/DC album to try, this would be a great place to start. Everything that makes the band so special is represented on this album. But candidly HTH has some samey tracks among the greats.
