1001 Albums Summary

Most of them have pretty nice guitar riffs, but drums feel out of place in a lot of the songs with no other instruments. Honestly not that bad to listen to but not something I would listen to in my free time

It has pretty long intros but a really groovy beat. Everything is mixed really well. I love the call and response in the song. It has a very reggae feel to it but also a tiny bit of a jazz feel with the saxophone and how the instruments work off each other. A good album to just have playing in the background

Straight away reminded me of a Christmas album. Enjoyed the staccato of the trumpets. Well mixed and can hear everything really clearly. Love the New Orleans vibe of the the album. Reminds me of literally every 2000’s Disney cartoon ever

The album has so many different kinds of music. I loved the bluesy feel of the second one. Although it has a sad tone overall it’s also so peaceful and calming

I surprisingly knew a lot of the songs on the album. I never realized how psychedelic The Police are. They seem to have a lot of off beat reggae style in many of their songs. Enjoyed most of the songs
