Couldn’t finish it….

I quite liked this album. I was not familiar with Beck's music other than his mainstream hit 'Loser' and his more recent music which I found too experimental for my taste in the early aughts. This album reminded me a bit of Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder which I love. I am going to revisit his whole discography as a result of this

This is a very technical album beyond my musical comprehension. For sure an album a listener like myself needs to listen to a few times to really take it in. I loved all of the stylistic variety. The jazzy songs were my favorite

Love disco but eating lower cause some of the lyrics are weird

Always loved him but especially love how bluesy the early work is

I didn’t realize all these Janis Joplin songs I recognize weren’t solo songs
