Not really my thing 3.5/5
So far, it has an uplifting start, similar vibes to the start of 80s movies. 2nd song had a a mysterious opening that gradually builds up to that one song. I was expecting something new and cool not that songđ. Shit sounds like the Home Depot themeđđ ď¸. 3rd song sounds very uplifting, but very generic, like a normal 80s radio song. This shit ainât cold chisel itâs frozen hammer. 4th song had a jazzy start featuring a trumpet as its main focus. They then introduce a drum kit but still keeps it funky, so far this is the best song on the album. Lyrics kick in but the vibe still stays the same. 5 mins in the song and itâs starting to get a bit repetitive. I feel like the songs on the album are drawn out. I feel like Iâve heard the same part 100 times. The song was good at the start but did not progress or the progression was too small for me to notice. The 5th song has a mellow start. The start is not repetitive and slowly progresses. Four mins in and I find the progression is way to slow and unnoticeable that instead of it feeling like yay a new part it just feels like itâs the same and therefore makes it feel repetitive. Please just hurry up and end now, it had no reason to be 8 minutes long, Jesus . 6th song in, this album is kinda meh, nothing has really stood out or grabbed my attention except the 2nd song but thst was only because of its popularity elsewhere and me noticing that. Bro this song just sounds like youâve left the tv on afk in a jungle part of a game for the past 20 mins and itâs just slowly driving you insane in the background while you do something else. 7th song has a cowboyish start. Who do they think they are, please just stick to what you do good. Okay this actually grabs my attention for once but I think like every other song it will be repetitive. Instead of reviewing this album, I couldâve reviewed any of the others I missed. Okay the riff is already getting a bit old, at least this song is average length, so far this might be the best. 8th song has a funky bass line at the start, I would be happy but this album is too long and is gettin kinda old, Iâm not really excited anymore. The album itself is not long but the songs repeating like 5 times and then next song makes it feel a lot longer. As predicted, the song got kinda old and I didnât focus on it for the later half of it. 9th song has a moody intro, but it doesnât really get me excited after the mid-ness of every other song after their intros. Been so sick of this album I didnât pay attention to this song đ. Once again, like all the other songs, it is too long. Final thoughts, was too long and drawn out. Nothing really interested me. 5/10
I believe it will be a rap album. This is First song starts with a callto the audience. It then immediately gets into the song. There might be some reggae influences Freedom This started using samples, I believe it is a reggae style rap album. I was right. It is very flow heavy. It is hip-hop with some reggae influences, I guess it is about the civil rights movement. This is why it has reggae influences. Reggae was popularized by Jamaica If only you knew Jazzy rap, it is 100% about the civil rights movement. This is the best album I have listened to on here so far. It has a nice flow. The flute is a bit annoying but necessary to fill the gaps, if the flute was a bit quieter it would be better. It shows promise lyrically but ceebs reading the lyrics, ima draw or read instead. Okay, the flute needs to stop, itâs overused. At least take a break from using it. The epilogue is just a speech and it sounds like it is Australian, they were talking about Gold Coast and Melbourne and had an Aussie accent Break Decent so far Forgot to write anything else React Jazzy rap. Motorbike sample? A day at the races Remember his name Strange opening but somehow it works, this album has some crazy transitions so far, not really my favourite song but not bad Whatâs golden Kinda eh opening, donât really like the bass in this song. Probably one of my least fabourite, I like the choppy samples, remind me of mf doom thin line Alright but not much to say about it. Not really unique. The chorus is nice though, very catchy. Pretty good afterschool special Fire intro holy shit, already my favourite, hopefully it stays this way. I like the real life conversation interludes, it makes it seem more real and makes you remember itâs not just music, but the message someone is trying to prove high fidelity Alright so far, melody is kinda meh, beat is good, and I like the MF doom style samples sum of us Marimba intro?! What the bum. Same thing as the previous song. I like the rap flow though. DDT An interlude, just a conversation, cool interlude though, it has a good flow and is about DDT one of them Decent. hey What the fuck. Why is this actually good. Same praise as most songs, good samples, good rhyme flow. I am somebody Nice best and melody and flow. Acetate prophets. Conversation intro. Fire drum beat and samples. The melody is kinda meh. Lots of melody changes Favorite song: afterschool special Least favorite song: whatâs golden 4 stars 8/10
Deny Everything Okay first song time. Is this a fucking joke, immediate transition to song? Singing is so off tune and beat. Really there the whole song? 0/10 I just want some skank Jesus Christ, is this man drunk, he is so off beat and tune. How short are these songs. Only 2 songs in and I already wonder how this got into the 1001 albums you need to listen to. Is this a troll? Everything from the album cover to the music to the album title to the band name is shit. 0/10 Beverly Hills Still sounds drunk, sounds like he just found some samples online when he was drunk and decided to sing. Why is he yelling so much? He sounds like a drunk teller 0/10 Operation Shit intro, immediately into action. Same criticism, sounds like shit. Why are these songs tiktok and YouTube short length? I feel like the music video will have satisfying content/family guy clips/mobile games/subway surfers/reddit stories underneath the recording. 0/10 Back against the wall Okay, finally a non-aggressive start. I donât hear the drunkie from the start. Nvm, the drunkie is back and worse than ever. Longest song so far at one minute and thirty five seconds. A song from another album I listened to today is almost as long as this album. Why does the drum kit sound like some random who hasnât touched drums goes like âyeah I can playâ, then just hits everything. 0/10 Wasteland Same here, sounds like a guy just auditioned saying he could do drums and just whacked everything, somehow he got the role, he canât read sheet music or even read. Only like 3 minutes into the album and I already want it to stop. Why did the song end so abruptly. 0/10 World Up My Ass I feel like I can do so much better than these songs. Abrupt start, mid beat from every instrument, sounds like every instrument is clashing to be the main focus and no one is giving up and no one is good at their respective instrument. 0/10 Paid Vacation Stop yelling Jesus Christ. How are these people liked, I havenât listened to punk rock but I feel like there are tons better, once again this song ended abruptly. 0/10 Donât Cafe Mid, please stop shouting, he sounds like an angry drunk. All of these songs sound the same and are about as interesting as the flavor of water. Yet another abrupt ending. 0/10 Live Fast Die Young Shit drum and guitar start. The singer made it infinitely worse a few seconds later. Why am I wasting my time reviewing this album. 0/10 Okay, alright drum intro, so far best song. Still shit drunkie singing. This album would be so much better with an actual singer rather than a drunkie they found outside the sporting globe, hell I think a drunkie outside the sporting globe would be better. 1/10 Whatâs your problem Jesus, shit drums, guitar and vocals already. Okay, alright later half. Nvm, it went back to shit. 0/10 Group sex I thought group sex would be at least better because it is the name of the album. It is as bad as the rest0/10 Red Tape Worst ending song to an album Iâve ever heard. 0/10 Best song - live fast die young Worst song - every song (including live fast die young) -2/10 Would rather be dry iced for 15 mins than listen to this.
Planet Telex Mysterious intro. Very odd instrument, I love it. Very psychadelic, nice bass line and drums.8.5 /10 The Bends Nice transition, nice guitar. Donât really feel like going too in-depth with my review today. 9/10 High and dry So far worst Radiohead album but itâs not bad, itâs just the other 2(ok computer and in rainbows) are insanely good. 9/10 Fake Plastic Trees Nice acoustic guitar. Nice all round. Canât really be fucked writing a review today. 9.5/10 Bones What the bum is this intro and why is it so good. What was that transition, why was it so good. 9/10 Nice Dream Nice acoustic guitar. 9/10 Just Pretty good. (Why can even I see the loss of motivation to write a review throughout this review) 9.5/10 My iron lung Very good. 9.5/10 Bullet Proof⌠I Wish I Was 9.5/10 Black Star 9/10 Sulk 9/10 Street Spirit 9.5/10 Overall 9/10 Best song: street spirit (there is not bad song) Worst song: Planet Telex
