1001 Albums Summary

After the first few songs, I thought I might not hate the album as much as I expected to, but it got worse. I technically didn't hate it. I knew the popular songs already and they are fine. I thought a lot of the instrumentals sounded cool, but many of the lyrics were just not good at all. I guess I'm just not a big fan of ZZ Top. 3.5/10

I had a suspicion after hearing this that Taylor Hawkins was a fan. It sounds a lot like his music. I was right. RIP. Kinda sounds like a knock-off Queen/Beatles/Billy Joel, but also sounds pretty good??? 6/10

This is the first album that I've been given that I had already listened to previously. 8/10

Last time I got an album that I had already listened to it was Yeezus and I didn't re-listen to it. But I can't see this album cover and not listen to this album. Is it a perfect album? Maybe not...but yes it absolutely is. 10/10

I can't hate on it, but there's also nothing special about it. Obviously they influenced a lot of people and they are an extremely important band. They're just ok to me
