A classique. Not my fav John tbh but still good. My dad loves this one which makes sense to me. I prefer the more science fiction Elton. Candle is the wind makes me teary. I remember driving to school once and my dad pointing out Marilyn's apartment. It seemed to have made a big impact on him, the song and her. Bennie and the jets reminds me of the world I thought I was growing up into. Boys in high heels and sunset blvd but its no longer there. I wasnt exited this was my first album but by the end I felt chills. I love it all. My ratings are dumb, dont take them seriously. 3.5
