1001 Albums Summary

Growing up in a firmly Blur supporting household my exposure to Oasis had been limited to their biggest and most overplayed hits like Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back In Anger. Despite this I thoroughly enjoyed this album with the standout tracks for me being: Hey Now!, Cast No Shadow, and She’s Electric

Completely changed my view on the B52s as a band as I had previously only heard the song Love Shack. The first 4 songs are incredible yet nothing after Rock Lobster caught my attention. Favourite tracks were 52 girls and Dance this mess around which was very reminiscent of some of my favourite Patti smith tracks.
