Tea for the Tillerman
Cat StevensA great mellow album with some up tempo stuff in there. I already had "Wild World" in my library but I added "Where Do The Children Play?" and "Father and Son" which are the other two big ones on here

Cool album, the only song I had added to my library was Everybody Hurts. Mix of fast paced and slow paced songs. Definitely everything has a very R.E.M sound.
A couple decent sections here and there but at the end of the day it feels like unintelligible garbage. Did it potentially have an impact on the metal scene? Who knows, but this album simply isn't something I'd ever like to revisit. The second side seemed a little more polished and most of the band as they are known now were not involved in the record so it seems this was a discovery/concept piece.
It's got that old school hip hop vibe with some cool beats. Not sure about how it fits in the time period but I enjoyed it
Started off tepid and a little unpolished but got into a nice groove in the middle. Some interesting sci fi sounds but mostly typical 90s dance pop
Heard a few of the iconic songs on here as they're almost universal at this point. Aware of the semi-groundbreaking nature of this album but first time hearing it front to back. I understand some of the criticisms of the samey-ness of the sounds and vocals but I really dig it. Lives up to the hype imo
