Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Jun 06 2024

Musical excellence for surezies. I listened to this at least 4 times today (quite on purpose) and i had a great time. incredibly sensual album 😏. Will be revisiting. Let's Marvin Gaye and get it on boys.

My Generation by The Who
Jun 07 2024

Good album but besides "my generation" i cannot make any big distinctions between the songs. Also was not expecting to get such a heavy Beatles vibe from this album. Would give it a 3.5 if I could

1989 by Taylor Swift
Jun 10 2024

Quintessential 2014 pop. Some of Taylor's most iconic tracks on here but it's really not my favourite of her albums. Incredible number of singles on it tho. Also I literally always forget "how you get the girl" is actually on this album and not just in the deluxe edition. Also sidenote, I have hated "welcome to New York" since day fckn 1. Highlights for this listen: Style, clean, out of the woods, and as always I KNOW PLACES

Illmatic by Nas
Jun 11 2024

Wow that was very lyric heavy as per the wiki description. also love how hardcore weed is referred to as "the herb" in this era. Quite fantastic stuff but I will likely not be revisiting it. Favourite track: halftime

Street Signs by Ozomatli
Jun 13 2024

That was super fun and at first I thought i was listening to Serbian music, the vibe and instruments were the same. I will definitely not be listening to this again, except maybe believe, but I had a great time!

Foo Fighters by Foo Fighters
Jun 14 2024

This was fun but I found it to be highly irrelevant. Forgot I was listening to it most of the time. Most boring rock I've heard

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Jun 17 2024

I loved this album and will be revisiting. I suppose it makes sense as I am a a bit of a 60s gyal. Not much more to say, I thought it was great.

With The Beatles by Beatles
Jun 18 2024

Yass Beatlemania! Amazing early Beatles songs and fantastic covers. Obviously enjoyed and their early stuff is a fun time

Woodface by Crowded House
Jun 19 2024

I didn't really like most of this album execpt chocolate cake so I am feeling conflicted. Those are my only two thoughts there is nothing more complex then that: chocolate cake good, the rest not really good. So idk

Violator by Depeche Mode
Jun 25 2024

I have listened to this album before. It is still interesting. And still not worth more than 3 stars. But... REACH OUT AND TOUCH FAITH ✊🤟🙏 Enjoy the silence is still a banger too. Goodbye violator, for what I hope is the last time.

Peter Gabriel by Peter Gabriel
Jun 26 2024

Unfortunately I did not finish this album partly because I was bored but also I think in part because this guys last name is Gabriel and the name Gabriel genuinely grosses me out. Sorry Peter. You shall receive a pity 2 stars.

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Jun 27 2024

This album is gorgeous. I am always reminded just how much I love jazz when I get a jazz album on this site and I have no choice but to give it 5 stars. I did listen to this at least 3 times. All that being said I don't have any true standard against which I can actually compare and accurately rate jazz music, but this was special. Source: my fuckin opinion 🤟
