1001 Albums Summary

it's an overall pretty good album. you can tell it's one of their earlier albums, though. also the amount of times they said "love" should be criminal. jokes aside, i really like the vocals on all the tracks, and all the songs are really danceable, no matter if the song is slow or fast. i really do like this album, i just think it could have been stronger and more varied in theme. but otherwise a pretty good early work!

i was enjoying this album for maybe 3-4 tracks, and then i realized all the songs sound the same. add that to their meandering sound, i honestly grew drowsy while listening to their music and not in a good way. wish i could have enjoyed it more :(

this album, in my opinion, is fine. just fine. it’s not really my cup of tea. i can see why people adore this record, but i just can’t enjoy it the same, which is disappointing. sometimes the twang of young’s voice was pleasant, but when stripped back bare, it could be most unpleasant. i wish i liked this more because of how hyped this album is. :(
