1001 Albums Summary

I can see how this album was influential and can also imagine being the parent of a teenager in the 80s and absolutely LOATHING it. Unapologetically vulgar with stark lyrics about addiction that would push boundaries even by today’s standards. Wicked guitar work of course. I’ve never intentionally listened to Guns N’ Roses and certainly never heard any non-radio hits. Will I go back and listen again or would I have sought this out if not for the 1001 albums site? Probably not, but it was a fun way to spend the morning and I did add Welcome to the Jungle to my running playlist.
