The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
David BowieFavourite song so far is “it ain’t easy” - very bluesy! Same with suffragette city, classic. Overall solid album, some classics. Some songs a bit same-samey

This album is just…fine. Really enjoyed the instrumental beginnings of 2112 Overture, but gosh that song just kept going. Would consider this album good background driving music but that’s about it.
A lot of great sad (but accepting) break up songs. Super funky beats all throughout the album. Listen to the music is a classic! The bass beginning to sunshine (go away) is *chefs kiss*, but I didn’t love the keys which came in later. All together a pretty solid funk album.
I’m suddenly transported back to being a teenager & can’t tell if the cringe I’m feeling is because of that, or because of some of these downright awful lyrics. Probably both. Whilst he’s a good rapper the content of these songs so far (and all the “skits”) are very ~edge lord~ and absolutely full of misogyny. Made it to the end of the album through sheer stubbornness alone. So cringe, do not recommend.
Loving windmills of your mind, such a fantastic song with great lyrics
Love this album!
