it's okay. it just sounds like the arctic monkeys really. unexceptional but alright.

chris martin's voice kind of annoys me, and so do the bits of the instrumentation where it's stripped back and acoustic. some of it is catchy though, and it's not totally horrible.

i just can't take this seriously... everything about this is giving me unidentifiable music feelings. like this sounds exactly like what i expect all country music to sound like, and i think that if i heard this live, i'd like it a lot better and maybe find it moving... but i'm listening to it from my laptop and all the lyrics and instrumentation are so typical of the genre that it's making me giggle. still, it's not totally bad. it's decent. wouldn't listen to it again though.
