Duran DuranXylophone bit in “Last Chance on the stairway” is neat, but “The Chaffeur” is a stand out. Sounds modern, but like it couldn’t exist if this song didn’t exist. I guess that means it’s timeless?

I finally understand the reference in the office with Bob Odenkirk’s character. The music is good, but not super interesting for me. I understand the impact and influence his music must have had during the "peace & love" movement of the 70s. I think the lyrical content is the best part.
Groovy, Funky, Crispy, and Soulful. I could do without the part where the "kid" is crying for his mama, but other than that really good. Not bad for a DEI band. (jokes).
Some of the instrumentation is cool, but didn't capture my attention overall
AC: Black Flag has better sea shanties
Album bangs. The second half is better than the first. My introduction to UK Grime back in the day. The first half has too much “proving myself” energy and is kinda juvenile with the cod chat, but “It Ain’t Safe” and “Shut Down” are timeless
Kinda cool but missing something
Live show is cool - vibed to it. Drummer is crazy good. Don't know if I would ever think to listen to this again, but its classic rock & roll.
It was aight, didn’t finish the whole album
